Two sons of “YouTube mom” Machelle Hobson, who ran the now-defunct channel “Fantastic Adventures,” have been charged with sexual abuse for allegedly abusing girls as young as five years old. Hobson died in 2019 ahead of trial for allegations of abusing her adoptive children. Now, her sons, Logan and Ryan Hackney, face charges for their alleged sex crimes in Arizona. The Law&Crime Network’s Jesse Weber breaks down the case with Arizona-based criminal defense attorney Kurt Altman and ABC15 journalist Zach Crenshaw.

  1. People need to know what what’s happening to our children! We have to stop burying our heads in the sand. Me included.. they are the innocents, we all should take a stand against child abuse…🙏🏻

  2. Exactly why I say that people should absolutely be required to have a license to breed and adopt!!
Need one to drive a vehicle, operate heavy machinery, to hunt. Even need one just to go fishing..
Yet somehow to be responsible for another human life. No such requirements exist for whatever reason… 😑🙄🤦🏻‍♂️

  3. What? Molestation? So what the adoptive mother did to them wasn't enough, they were molested by her son's??? WFT is wrong with social services? They had been to that house multiple times and left them to be abused in unspeakable ways!!!!!!!!!!!

  4. When they did the investigation of their mom machelle you could tell they were the same trying to cover up the abuse here.I would check those kids that were fostered there because ugh..those poor kids have been through too much and all they wanted was unconditional love from a family.

  5. Very common i was fostered and then adooted by my foster mom.but i went withiut meals tied up to bed beaten with belts and many other things even as a child i told my social worker guess what they did.NOTHING

  6. They've been in multiple physical altercations at their prisons(11/4/24 have been in solitary confinement for 78 days, starting August 18th, 2024) and the accounts they use to receive money for commissary were stolen and are in debt many thousands of dollars due to fraudulent checks being cashed using their personal information. Heard that through the grapevine.

  7. There’s a reason her adult sons were still living with her, and her adult daughters reported her. There’s a reason why her daughters spoke out when her sons didn’t.

  8. I don't think children should be allowed to be featured on YouTube. There is 0 accountability, while child actors have legal protections.
I also think that if children are homeschooled, there should be mandatory, unannounced checks, during the school day, 3 or 4 times a year. No child should be in a position that their parents are the only people that have any contact with them.

  9. Im just trying to find out why it takes years upon years to charge these guys of this crap. Even after they found that they forgot to charge them, it still took years. Or am i misunderstanding?

  10. Gotta thank child protective services always taking kids out of danger only to place them into more dangerous abusive situations. Smh🤦🏻‍♀️🙄 can't wait inmates get ahold of these sick f*cks.

  11. The comedian and podcaster (also on youtube) Heather Mc/Mac Donald is often mentioning this topic on her podcast. She mainly talks about and with celebrities, but also mixes it up with everyday stuff and a bit of true crime. She is the only person of her level of fame/a very established public presence, who on the regular brings up the childrens rights when it comes to being put on youtube (and social media in general) in general. She often asks questions about what it's like for children when they are constantly being filmed/photographed and put on social media by their parents, and what we can expect in the future, when it comes to how this will affect these children after they're old enough to chose to say no to their parents.
