Cops should have checked Internet activity time – when the victim was viewing his bank account to see if it was 5-10 minutes before the 911 call as the GF said.

It all boils down to lazy police work. A righthanded man had gunshot residue on his left hand. The woman supposedly attempting to keep him from shooting himself has no residue ( she washed it off before her police interview probably) and is focused on getting his wallet after his death. Those were alarm bells clanging at a deaf system. If they bothered to really investigate, they could have seen the roommate as an accomplice because her account would have contradicted the evidence. Maybe then they could have ferreted out the truth from her instead of rushing to; it was a suicide, case closed.

Of course there's no GSR on her hands! It's a shotgun, there wouldn't be any on her hands unless it was semi-auto, which it wasn't! The only GSR would be coming out of the barrel, which means he was trying to push the barrel away from him! The GSR tests alone prove exactly what happened, how can forensic scientists and cops be so stupid? If he fired the shotgun, there would be no GSR on his hands. Unbelievable.
