How awful that Gavin had to live with a father like him, and how tragic that karma for his dad’s cruelty and bigoted life fell on a child and not him. I don’t know if Gavin shared his dad’s beliefs and “deserved” this, like some might suggest, but even if he did, he was still just a child, and children are often influenced by their parents to join them in evil.

This is a really common thing. My info is very public online and I am targeted in 1 way or another with 30 scams a week, not being a teenager and never having posted dodgy pics online I have no stress (My assumption is their links are to hack my computers). Most scams are trying to take websites / or fb pages from me, anyhow it is something that Teenagers need to be aware of as everything is blown out of proportion when you are 17. EVEN if he had posted dk pics.. the blackmailers say they will send them to family, FAMILY ARE NOT GOING TO OPEN THEM! My top tip to any teen trapped in this situation is tell them to go fk themselves as the pics are fake.

I’m so happy they got the guy, most of them get away with it. My daughter had this happen she was 14, I was so angry but I told my daughter this was a grown man who’s doing this and a pervert and looks at pictures of young children. So we blocked them and ignored them and they finally knew it wasn’t working on this family I knew it but never told my husband.
Nothing being done until they get to taste it themselves.

You know with me being at my 50s most of us we understand extortion. And would be like why did a person do that. Luckily people around my age we miss that early 2000s late 1990s when everything went to hell and the handbasket over the internet. That's why his father could not see or understand why he was burying his child. The mindset of that next generation. That is basically grown up with a computer and a telephone don't go outside. Don't know how to hold a conversation on the telephone.
