I feel like her boyfriend Zailo is involved. Lindsay was reluctant to go, but reassured by her bf saying he would be there. Then her bf is turns up late, then he drives to another street because he said he did not want to be "a nosy, interfering boyfriend". Not much point being in another street if something bad happens. The multiple stabbing was too amateurish for a professional drug cartel hit, in my opinion.
