    These two were ADULT MEN, when they did this, planned and carried out a cold blooded murder. Walked in and blew the face off their parents. I live in Orange County Ca when this happened.They could have LEFT, Any day Any time. Move out, Get a job.They wanted $$$. Prison FOREVER !

    Yes they should . Those boys never had a fair chance at life . From being abused by both parents to ending up in prison . They never had a chance to make a success out of there lives . As the parents raised criminals instead of successful men . Not seeing the impact their parents behavior and the rauma they endurd from that behavior caused those boys 😢😢😢😢😢

    I’ve been following this case since the trial began. It’s a tragic story. I’m an interstate truck driver in Australia and I listen to a lot of true crime podcasts on the road, daily. I’m not a psychologist or psychiatrist but I have done a lot of research and study into it. Are the Menendez brothers guilty of murder? Yes they are. Even though I do not believe they got a fair trial. Evidence has come forward to back the claim of abuse. Have they paid their debt to society? I think they have. Should they be paroled? Yes they should. If their motive for murder truly was because of abuse and sexual abuse, I really do not believe they will be a threat to society. Any father would do what it takes to protect their children and react to how they see fit to the violator. It’s tragic that the violator in this case was the very person who should’ve protected them from it.

    We live in a society where people on social media with the limited ability to make informed decisions are put in the position to make judgement and influence decisions on certain matters. It's wrong. We saw it in Australia in the 1980s with Lindy Chamberlain whose baby was taken by a dingo. The social attitude even then was horrific. That poor woman spent ages in prison. She received compensation for her years in prison. During the time she lost her baby horrifically she was judged and vilified instead of being shown compassion. It is shameful. The same thing is happening to the menendez brothers. They are being judged by people with limited knowledge who are projecting their own attitudes onto the brothers. In court, juries are isolated so as not to influence their decisions! But on social media people are able to judge and influence with no agency. It's unfair and it's disgusting

    Let them free. They came to this world to suffer from the very people that are supposed to keep their children safe. The where monster. No one misses monsters like these so call parents. Let them free.

    They only played the abuse card after their attorneys suggested it. They lied to police, tried to frame the dads ex business partner, and bought Rolexes and cars immediately. Who cares if they are model prisoners and got college degrees? They wouldn’t have done that if they didn’t get busted and got all their parents money.

    Love how he says it’s calculated before election, but then two minutes before they’re saying they needed to see a high profile conviction after the acquittal of OJ, so who better than them after TWO hung juries.. it seems like them being put away was also calculated by that last judge who didn’t accept as much of the abuse as evidence

    Im sorry but i don't buy there story they are greedy they wanted there money .i was 15 years old when this happened.after they killed there parents.they went in a shopping spree.

    I believe the brothers from the very start because NO ONE at that time ever used sexual abuse by a father as a defense. This was pre-internet time so they couldn't have gotten this defense idea from anywhere if it wasn't true. I believed the brothers because it happened to "me". I followed the case and wanted so much to tell my own mother what happened to me but I was threatened by my step-father that he would kill my mother and all my sisters if I ever told. If I had a gun, I would have killed my step-father too to stop him coming to my bed and from the fear of him killing me. I truly believe the brothers were sexually abused because NO ONE, not even their defense attorney, could have come up with such a defense because it was unheard of at the time. Today with the internet and social media, kids easily learn how to come up with all kinds of defense for their crimes but back then, I believe the young brothers just told the truth when caught.

    100% yes, considering their age, the circumstances they were in, their behaviour over the 35 years proves they are ready to back in the society and live a free life. They have paid their debt to the society. They know more than anyone else the consequences of committing a crime!!

    I know I’m going against the grain here but, I’m just so frustrated that the Menendez bothers may be set free. Even if their sentences are changed to life with the possibility of parole, they’re still breathing! They haven’t served life sentences yet. I don’t see how potential ab-use excuses Redrum. They’ve never shown evidence of ab-use. If they get set free, it’ll show that evidence isn’t necessary to prove S-**use. Going weapon shopping the day before So pre-meditated that they went shopping for their weapons the day before.

    The second trial judge predetermined the outcome of the second trial (retrial) – he was wrong in excluding all the testimony of witnesses, evidence, and abuse testimony as presented in the original trial. It was obvious the trial judge was working with the LA District Attorney's office because of the bad record by that office after the loss suffered in the OJ Simpson trial. They say Lady Justice is Blind but in this instance the judge had made a predetermination and he hoped for a death penalty but was shocked when the jury did not agree with him. If this judge be he dead or alive today, he would be removed from the bench for his bias and poor judicial conduct.
