   Amidst the ensuing chaos, I'd imagine it'd be easily disorienting. And, eyewitness accounts are notoriously inaccurate, even if there's no malicious intent.

    I would be wary of a case like this one as you're only hearing one side of the story, the DA might have very good reasons and more information than this twenty minute video provides.

SMH I read something someone posted on something else and they said "the justice system can't fail people it wasn't meant for in the first place"…..now that's deep!!!!     Louisiana been known for shady BS. I have been following this case for many yrs. The man who did this told Mac parents they had the wrong person and that he was the one and that he would go turn himself in the next day. The next day he kept his word and made the confession statement. If he was full of BS he would have not went in but he kept his word and then they just cover it up. WTF and the man had no prior record and while locked up no disciplinary reports. I did 11 yrs federal time and it's about impossible to not be in trouble for something. The state needs to admit wrong and do the right thing and stop the BS. Then Mac needs to Sue and get his back money he lost as a artist and performer.
