As someone severely abused by my own mom in every way imaginable, yeah, I kind of find this justifiable- sorry. The mother allowed it to happen for so long- she didn’t put her daughter’s safety first. But I find it to be interesting how even the person working on this case says that she feels bad for Ashley but has to do her job-if she was a son would they have the same empathy for an abusive childhood? Reminds me of the Menendez brothers..that case will forever enrage me..watching them in so much pain talking about being molested by their dad. Should’ve been out of prison a decade ago. But nah, double standard.

honestly, I don't blame her for killing her parents. Her mother forced her and her sisters to live in a house with a man who was extremely abusive, did nothing to protect her children from him. Fuck them both. I hope Ashley finds peace.

Not every woman who gave birth deserves to be called a mother. She failed to protect her daughter and chose Thomas rather than her own flesh and blood. I don't feel sorry for her at all.
