  1. In this video, they stated that Ashley was never married before she met Doug, and in another video, they stated that she was married before, but it didn't last long. If so, making such hasty decisions is never a good thing, especially as both of them didn't even really know each other. I know that people who are vulnerable and suffering from traumatic and tragic situations can be more trusting and easily manipulated. The bit i struggle with is Doug who was grieving from the loss of his wife, the love of his life, as he put it, can then find someone else so beautiful and became besotted with them after a very short time. I do believe that Ashley manipulated him. He married Ashley only days after meeting her, didn't tell his daughter anything, and then threw all of this at her. Eva was already heartbroken and grieving for the loss of her beloved mother, and then she found out her father betrayed her. He only intensified her pain and trauma. Doug and Ashley's relationship was always rocky and became more toxic. Situations should never have to reach a boiling point where one person takes the life off the other. Sadly, we see it happening all the time. Nothing good ever comes out of abusive and toxic relationships. I can understand if someone really felt that their life was in danger and that was the only way to protect themselves. People say leave a relationship at the first sign you see a red flag. So many people have stayed in abusive relationships because they thought it's only an abusive relationship if you were physically hurt. Abuse comes in so many levels and is both physical and mental. 1 time it happens is 1 time too many. Doug did not deserve what happened to him. People have to stop trying to make such toxic relationships work because they don't, and things only escalate to a dangerous level. I actually don't believe anything that Ashley says after all the despicable claims she made. I think she definitely has mental health issues and comes across as an evil, crazy, psychotic manipulator. My heart goes out to Eva for the tragedies she has faced and the trauma she endured. I hope she comes out stronger in her healing journey and has a happy and successful future.

  2. Were you there? Did you get your stories from Ashley? If you did then her stories are as accurate as what we got from the media (btw, we're not THAT stupid to believe everything the media tell us and not get our facts from court documents etc). The telltale of a narcissist: everyone is at fault, I'm never wrong.

  3. Ashley didn’t do well on the stand. I just didn’t believe her.

Her reenactment was ridiculous. The chopping hand motions was almost comical and definitely NOT believable.

  4. “The exposure of truth sometimes results in tragedy…However! No matter how tragic the truth may be, it would be an even greater tragedy…to avert one’s eyes from it."-Miles Edgeworth

  5. If she feared him, why did she agree to be with him alone? Where was a supervising officer? 👮‍♀️ Pah!!
Usually upon moving out, especially if there’s contention an officer of the LAW is present.
