  1. As a child victim involved with the death of a parent and being the only witness, it IS hard. Memories, dreams and adults opinions do impact what you believe happened on that day. Especially when I had my parent's family who believed what they wanted to believe despite my testimony even though I was there!! Luckily, I was 10 and a little older and I stuck to my guns and didn't let others sway me.

  2. This is why I don’t agree with the death penalty. Now the real killer can’t say what he has done or admit his guilt.. and also imagine if he was given death penalty.. and he’s innocent !

  3. I am so glad Melissa came forward! This is so sad the way the law manipulates witnesses, especially when there children! He is such a good man not to be scorned by having his whole life taken from him! #hero

  4. Maybe I am completely off, but the compassion for this man feels wrong to me. I think he did it. And, if not, what's with his other murder? He said something like "This guy stole my ax and I killed him with a rock". But he would never hurt a child. ??? That is a very intense thing to do to a person. No pity here.

  5. this man is making me as emotional as the victim made me! he seems to be such a sweet old guy, I feel bad about him missing his youth, but MAYBE, if this didn't happen, something worse could have happened to him, like death in some accident…who knows, I just want to see him free

  6. This has brought tears to my eyes. Melissa is extremely brave for stepping forward and correcting a wrong, and I hope and pray that Rodney will be released so that he may attend his granddaughter's birth to her baby.
    I'm cheering for Rodney Lincoln!!!!!
