I think faith friend surname is short for Rosie if u pause and read the dialect in the back she's blaming faith for being with her bf and i feel like she's saying stuff back that faith has said to her and she wrote the note. The only problem is that detectives or anyone cant prove this sadly

A suspect was arrested due to a DNA match. Imagine if Eric and Rosie were arrested for a convicted crime they did not commit. Imagine if Eric was kicked out of grad school due to these allegations.

I think the roommate has a lot to do with it. It was all planned. That might of happened at 1-2am, she was knocked out and they could of officially murdered her at 4am

Well there's definitely a new development now, albeit 9years after Faith's murder and 5years after this upload… The male suspect was 19 himself at the time of Faith's death, so we can only wait and see how the case progresses over time… who knows? If the suspect was one of the male voices on the pocketdialled v-mail, maybe he'll figure it's in his interests to talk… I believe his dna matches dna found on the bat or weapon used to bludgeon Faith, but it's early days as he was only arrested in the last couple of days, (It's September 21st 2021 today) and the good ol interweb is notorious for Chinese whispers… either way, thoughts are very much with Faith and the whole Hedgepeth family right now. I pray you get the answers you need, and justice for your beautiful Faith.xx

Arrest made Miguel Enrique Oliveras 28 of Durham. DNA matched during DUI arrest.

This is the first time I have heard of this crime. Such a senseless murder. My heart and prayers goes out to her family. Dad she knew your love and that says a lot.
My guess is Eric and Rosario committed this crime. Shame on Chapel Hill PD for not doing a more thorough investigation.
This shit angers me so much, how can people be so stupid. Those cops should all be fired it’s clear cut who killed her. 9 years later and they’re still walking free living life like nothing happened. And faith is dead and her family crushed to shambles. The system is wack asf. Things like this make me want to study Private Investigation. These news reporters are better detectives than the detectives themselves. THEY’RE the ones who found the voicemail expert and the lady that analyzed the note. They’ve gotten more evidence than the fucking cops. I watch all of True Crime daily’s vids and docs. This is by far one of the ones that truly made me feel sad.

I’m sry if she had a friend called Rosie I’m sry fuck the police I’d get the truth I’d chop her up but by bit even if I had too die myself and that Erik I’d do same too him too chop bits off fact they will talk of die depending on how much you chop off before they talk police need facts someone like me can make them talk if wrong they can die but they will talk time I’d be done with them police can do whatever they want I would get the truth
My feelings really changed after this video! Now I think that Eriq and Karina were definitely the perps, but I also think there was a third person, maybe a friend of either Eriq or Karina. The male DNA found on her body doesn't match Eriq, and I think the third person was a male and sexually assaulted Faith. I think the unknown male says "I think she's dying" and then Eriq answers "do it anyhow" referring to sexually assaulting Faith. It is also possible that the DNA found on here was from a completely unrelated consensual encounter, but I then ask why she was left in such a state of undress? That's just what I'm thinking as of now.
What about the neighbors? Did they not hear anything??

The roommate more than likely had something to do with it, based on what we know. But that voicemail shouldn't be the prosecutor's sole evidence, as the entire case would fall apart. It isn't clear beyond a reasonable doubt, I'm afraid.
10000% the roommate and her bf had everything to do with it. They were the last ones to see her alive after all. Being beaten like that definitely adds a connection between them and faith being someone they knew. Her 911 call sounds fishy as hell. Forced and giving too many details. The voicemail suggests there’s more than 1 person involved. It all adds up to me. Poor girl. I hope to god the killers are caught.
