The convicted killer who escaped from a Pennsylvania prison continues to evade law enforcement as the manhunt for him nears two weeks. Authorities said 34-year-old Danelo Souza Cavalcante, who stabbed his ex-girlfriend to death in front of her two children, broke into a resident’s home in Chester County’s South Coventry Township and stole a rifle from the garage. The homeowner reportedly opened fire on Cavalcante as he fled. Police say he’s considered “extremely dangerous.” The Law&Crime Network’s Angenette Levy has the details.
