  1. Can someone link to me places where he describes actual interactions or ideas. He’s not getting into the nitty-gritty but is instead talking about broad theories s as and rules and some perspectives to observe his and other prominent people’s actions as.

  2. This episode was such a joke. You don’t know jack shit. More reddit users have done more heinous shit than 8chan and 4chan ever have. You guys are fucking dense.

  3. The internet has been around forever. I believe it was called the Advanced Research Projects Agency Network aka ARPANET (closed 1990) and now it is the Internet. Where did the ARPANET get the funding?
A: DARPA = Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency.

    That is the propaganda machine.

    You’re welcome.

  4. I think Owen Michael is awesome, but this Andrew Marantz guy is boring AF. Maybe it's just the subject matter? I stopped watching less than half way through.

  5. My partner is a political consultant, and deals with related stuff all the time. Since I began seeing him I've learned more than I ever thought there was to learn, and you just showed me I've barely scratched the surface. Thank you for bringing the fact that we're being manipulated into the conversation!

  6. I come to this channel to numb my mind, escaping the pure propaganda BS of the left and low and behold, who shows up…those in favor of online extremism.

  7. Great to hear you speak Andrew, you will never write and publish anything of significance or profound thought that people will reflect on decades from now, you are the equivalent of the guy selling popcorn at a baseball game. xD

  8. Oh yes! "The upper echelons of white supremacist groups." Hahaha Those nebulous white supremacists. You have no agency they will the brainwash you! Soon you will believe there are only 2 genders. Soon you will think You should raise your own children. Soon you will think people should be free. Run run quickly to your nearest CNN outlet.

  9. Hmmm I wonder if the whites who went to Charlottesville regard themselves as white supremacist? I wonder if they call themselves nazis?

  10. I think we can all agree that decimating Milo's income stream is a good thing right?1 We must destroy people we disagree with I think that's good And righteous.

  11. Why is reddit getting off easy on this, and 8Chan is being villainised? If this guy really did spend 3 years looking through these systems, he should know that reddit takes no steps to stop you from creating an account with a temporary email address (which can then be confirmed and get around their anti-spam) so when they "nuked" the "Nazis" all of those users just came straight back with new accounts and nothing changed.

8Chan is just like reddit. Plenty of radicalisation happens on reddit, plenty of radicalisation happens on Facebook, plenty of radicalisation happens on twitter. Isis, anonymous, the lords army, swords of christ, they all have official accounts on all of these platforms that are used to radicalise.

Stop making out that this is a problem with far away platforms the mainstream has never heard of. Heck, stop pretending this is a social media issue. Freedom comes with negatives, there will always be people who are prejudice, there will always be people who are hateful, there will always be anarchists, there will always be the mentally ill. It just is. And the more you push those people out of the mainstream, the more they join together, radicalise and escalate.

You can't fix human nature by making a law. You have to deal with the underlying societal issues, and that's hard and takes a lot of time and resources to do right. There's no quick fix solutions.

  12. What even is this? “Hate speech”? “Build the information eco-system you want to see”? Y’all should really stick to talking about crime.

  13. Remember the arson fires that happened the night the Grand Jury decided not to indict Darren Wilson? Brown's step father said "burn this bitch down." He said it when he got the news from the Grand Jury. No one charged him with anything. I believe if you tell people to burn a city down or to hurt another group of people you should be prosecuted. We need to apply it across he board, regardless of race, religion, etc.

  14. Very disturbed at how this podcast is turning so leftist. Stop attempting to allude that surprising speech is either necessary or appropriate. Go back to crime. Disliked.

  15. I have watched this video for more than eight minutes and this soyboy didn't say who are the supposed extremists. He is so tricky that I bet he is a libtard who calls a nazi anyone who disagrees with him.

  16. The concept of "Hate speech" is bullshit. Speech is subjective and saying "Well, I have the right to decide what your motive was" is Orwellian. It's literally punishing someone for thought-crime.

  17. This is really disappointing content. I really only care to see stories about crime and how they are resolved from this channel. Unsubscribed.

  18. The vulnerable are the weak minded. They can't think for themselves and depend on others to tell them what they are thinking. Sheesh! 🤣

  19. You mean how Google, Fakebook, YouTube and Tweeter and how they work to change your perception on things. True propaganda machines.

  20. This is very profound and important information. Proof is in the comments here😀👋. Trolls amok 😄. The warnings of disturbing content are really for the comments.

  21. Oh, geeze…..as soon as I saw this guest, i knew I would unsubscibe to True Crime Daily. Where's the crime??? Nevermind. Goodbye 👋

  22. There are inherent problems with determining who is "vulnerable" unless you're using age as a measure. It sounds like between all these platform's people find what their looking for. I've never heard of some of them- I am not the least curious about or interested in hate speech.

  23. EDIT: quick question, when you find someone upset online and threatening (non specifically) to pick up arms etc etc. WHAT DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN IF YOU JUST DELETE THAT PERSONS ACCOUNT??

You don't realize it but you actually have something in common with this hypothetical person… You both think the time for talking is over. You delete the account, what does he do???

So a writer form the NYT is upset about propaganda and diss information?
