The jury overseeing Danny Masterson’s retrial on rape charges has deliberated now for over a day. The “That ‘70s Show” star’s last trial was declared a mistrial after the jury could not reach a verdict. The Law&Crime Daily team has the details.

I understand they can’t allow the trial to go on cameras, but they need to learn to update us each day. Not too worried about it though cause I know Masterson is innocent and those women are just trying to steal his money just like any others would do
You forget to mention the huge fact the cult of miss cabbage put the jury foreman on the last trial. Kinda a big deal they leave out. Omission is the same as lying.
This coverage does not state the facts. Neither commentator knows this case. The reason for additional evidence being allowed in is because Masterson's defense team in first trial abruptly took a different tactic and decided to challenge whether these incidents even took place. Initially, defense was consent vs no consent. They opened the door to allowing this evidence about being drugged and Scientology. Scientology told these women they would be kicked out and have to disconnect from family and friends in Scientogy if they went to the police. There are documents about this in evidence. The statement from Scientology is misleading in the least more like a lie to me. Scientology discounted these women put punishment on them, charged them for Auditing, harrassed them even likely had their henchmen PI kill two dogs one was kicked in head one poisoned. There is so much more. This case should be getting more coverage. Thanks Jesse for mentioning it, but next time have people who know the case. There is also what was found out after the first trial was over. The jury foreman lied to the court about his son being sent to prison for SA. Also, that he was a cop. Either would have made him disqualified as a juror. There is also the affidavit he did for defense that stated no second trial should happen.

As an ex scientologist and for people who have no first hand knowledge. All of the ex members that are making $$$ off the pod cast/ shows are not telling the truth. Number 1 rule to scientology no criminals, no narcissistic people allowed. No taking drugs. If you believe there as been a crime committed, report it. Do you really believe if you were rapxxx you wouldn't go to the hospital and police? What they all have in common is ex membership. You don't wait " policy" made to wait 20 years?

Wow, you are struck out on this report about Danny Masterson. You don’t even know that the defense open the door to the judge changing her ruling in the first trial. My guess is the only mistake the judge made what she should have changed her ruling during the first trial instead of waiting until the second trial. And you don’t know that there’s evidence The women quickly reported the assault to the church of Scientology and they investigated it and Danny Masterson basically agreed that he did what he said he did but didn’t agree it was actually sexually assault.
Plus, the judge is a woman not a man. I’m guessing someone told her that in Terri’s ear piece after she said he a few times.

I’m confused why Law & Crime would put a legal “expert” on who clearly isn’t following the trial and is misrepresenting the legitimacy of the judge’s decisions. The defense opened the door for Scientology dogma to be entered as evidence. You can’t say you want information revealed to support your case, but then try to deny the other side an opportunity to counter such claims. As the judge said, if Scientology doesn’t want to be present in the proceedings, then maybe they should stop being present in the proceedings (paraphrased). If you open the door, others can also walk through. L&C, get better legal advisers and you’ll produce better reporting.
This is tabloid style coverage. Anyone who knows anything about the 1st trial knows why information about Scientology is permitted in the second trial. In addition, your defense attorney guest's "argument" without reference to a certain juror in the first trial is unbelievable. Now go do your homework.

I see a lot of people wanting a guilty verdict. Question is what if he's innocent? Women lie and men who did nothing end up in prison with a ruined life. Not every accusation is true. I can't say he's innocent but what if he is and these accusations ruin his life?

Very shoddy reporting, the reason for allowing testimony relating to Scientology has been clearly stated by the judge. The defense team opened the door during the first trial by using the delay of official reporting to the PD as a means to challenge the integrity of the victims.

Masterson is STILL a Scientologist. They don't report crimes committed by their members to the police.

Scientology is a huge part of this trial even though it shouldn’t be. The women told Scientology what it happened because one of the rules is to keep problems within the church and not go to police the first. Damedot only went to the police after she heard, there was a Jane doe two. Masterson is evil and so is the “church”.
This is such bad reporting, the defense open the door on bringing in scientology. What about information being leak to scientology lawyer that is still going to be addressed? First trial what about the jury foreman and all the dodgy stuff there? What this reporting makes me wonder how flawed are all your stories because the report on the DM or DJ Donkey Punch story was extremely flawed, poor form peeps, poor form.
Disgusting. Im not going to watch anything with these "reporters" in the future. The information that the judge allowed in during the second trial was extremely relevant. Scientology was the reason this wasn't reported to police immediately. They would have lost all of their loved ones and would have been put out on the streets if they had told police. And given how the Church of Scientology responds to these sorts of things, there was even a possibility they would have been murdered. If he isn't convicted this time around, I hope that the decent people of the world will all realize Masterson is a monster. It makes me sick thinking about how I used to watch That 70s Show when I was a teenager.

This case is very strange… if you read the comments people claim its so much evidence. Based on my research it doesnt look like any evidence other than the alleged victims inconsistent statements. How could you ever put this guy in prison with these crazy women stories.

They allowed it because Scientology intervened in these women filing charges it should be allowed ,
