I got pepper sprayed once at a friend’s house in preparation for academy training and another time in the academy.
Getting that sprayed right on your face burns like Hell, some people panic and can’t breathe right from not being able to open their eyes and having an awful bitter taste in their mouths.
Showering it off after is almost just as painful.
Getting a little cloud of it ain’t that bad. If you keep blinking hard, your eyes are fine after about 30 seconds, but that stuff still burns the rest of your face and stays on you for the whole day/night.
so let me get this right… he stole a beer and ended up assaulted and held against his will instead of being banned from the business and the cops being called?
