We locals call it the 'rot lot'.
Technically it is known as the Tennessee Anthropologic Research Facility (acronym T.A.R.F) but in honor of Dr William Bass who started it, many have used used the acronym B.A.R.F in his honor for the Bass Anthropologic Research Facility.
Working in that place ALONE at night…With so many human bones arround….. damn..
The tv show bones brought me here.
This place is rad. It’s down the road from my father in law.
I wonder if they pay people why they are still living if they decide to donate their bones. Like what is in it for the people who give you their bodies to study? I'm just thinking they probably would get more people wanting to do it if you get something in return.
How about you're organs huh
I live in Madisonville Tenn & both my girl was in forensic & wanted to visit & that stop doing that for high school kids a while ago but my girls kept asking every time I was doing a treatment in UT lol they try but anyway there's no way I wanted to do it or see or smell or ect that would hunt me for ever! Always & Forever Lynn G from Madisonville Tenn Peace & Love
