  1. The ignorance of this tyrant is astounding. He obviously doesn't care about lawsuits either. The taxpayers should not have to pay for his stupidity. Abolish qualified immunity and this nonsense will stop.

  2. Wait if not mistaken that a court said that the biggest difference between the right to record and the right to livestream is officer saftey as one can give the current location of the officer placeing "officer safty" due to someone "may ambush them" i would look into tgat and keep with recording for better lawsuites and less officer safty arguments

  3. So exactly when did the badge tell him to get back? When did the badge ask tell him anything other than sit down, get away from vehicle, or read him his Miranda rights for a cited criminal activity.

  4. This is just ridiculous. They are both being a petty as each other. The auditor should know this is a potential consequence of his actions, and something he’s likely to go through. To then be whinging about needing to go to work the next day makes him sound like a bratty child that’s been caught doing something then cries their eyes out when caught
The cop was way out of line from the get go. He literally arrested a bloke for basically saying hi.

  5. Yeah, give an "A-" to the guy who apparently gets off on being a provocateur and intentionally pissing off cops just so he can bait for a lawsuit.

Normal, upstanding citizens don't get arrested for interfering with police business *multiple times*.

Sure, John. No bias here. Suuure.

  6. "you can explain it al to the judge," well so do you, the burden is on the state you numnutz. Cops always say that, then the prosecutor drops the charges.

  7. Sit on the ground like a dog 🐕 is not a lawful order. Officer Hoyt doesn't seem to care about much, but he will care when he gets stripped of his qualified immunity
