  1. I was with this man for 17 years. From the time I was 19 to 36. He was my best friend. I just want people to know that the circumstances that surround his death, dont reflect the way he lived his life.He made some bad decisions & got caught up. It happens to the best of us. I met him while he was in college & he taught me so much. He loved to learn. He loved to enlighten people. He loved music. He loved animals. He loved sports. He loved to smoke weed. He loved the city of Los Angeles. He loved his family & friends. And he loved me. Unconditionally. I miss him every day. It is so hard to see this. It's even harder to think that people will never know what he was really all about.
R.I.P. Derrick I miss you everyday.
    I love you always

  2. RIP I hope he didn’t suffer … they were not 100 percent sure what the substance was btw he probably has a bad heart that cause passing out and or cardiac arrest ….

  3. I wish you people in these comments nothing but utter misery and pain, you monsters don’t deserve anything good.

Rip you deserved help, maybe you could have turned your life around

  4. Did anyone notice he was obese? Yeah, sure that had nothing to do with it. Oh and breaking the law on his own getting himself there, but liberals don’t like those facts 😂

  5. None of you have ever been addicted to drugs im guessing. The comment section is disgusting. I hope your family member never has a drug problem and dies from withdrawal.
