  1. Justice was served!! Cold Blooded Murderer. Sociopaths have no conscience. He can even laugh, No remorse, no guilt. To the rational mind, but Alex is and was not rational!! Imagine Paul looked right at him before he died. Maggie saw her son Paul with his head blown off and then saw her husband before he shot her.

  2. He said the evidence was clear, that’s what I heard. Michelle Yu got it wrong. He didn’t say the evidence was there.
It’s the little things in journalism that counts imo

  3. Three other jury members are saying three of them weren’t there yet. Nit saying they felt he was not guilty but that they had questions. Like without a gun how did they know the bullets came from their guns. They explained to them because the had spent bullets on the property that a friend testified too that they shot before the killings that matched. Those kinds of questions those three jurors needed answering. They made it sound like it was near the end of the three hours was when the final poll was taken again and that was 12 guilty. So I wonder when they really knew they were all on board. Interesting.
It was weird I heard some people say they thought not guilty because they came back so soon. That makes no sense. Of course guilty. A six week trial with so much evidence would have to be guilty with a verdict in 3 hours. And he was supposed to be an expert legal consultant lol.

  4. Elick Murdick would have NEVER admitted he was at the kennels if it wasn't for Paul's Snapchat video. He only has admitted to what has been proven against him, the video, the Financials, etc. Judge Newman put it perfectly, he has to see Maggie and Paul dead, in his mind, every single night for the rest of his life; I think that's fitting.
Now, Judge Newman can properly mourn the sudden death of his son. 😔 He's a strong man.

  5. In 2000, I served on a jury in a murder trial. The man had been charged with shooting his ex-wife in the head with a shotgun. I’ll never forget looking at those photos. The evidence was pretty clear. He waited for her to get home from work around 10pm, walked up and shot her while she was unlocking her door. Two neighbors saw his car, one saw him walking up right before the shooting, but she was kinda far away. That was the only piece of evidence we questioned, whether or not that witness would actually be able to see him from that distance. We deliberated for about 8 hours, I think, and found him guilty. I was the foreperson, stood up and read that verdict sending that man to life in prison without possibility of parole.

I don’t doubt for a second that the jury in this case reached the right verdict. The evidence was overwhelming.

  6. The day Alex Murdaugh was found guilty March 3, 2023, is the same day 4 years ago that Mallory Beach’s body was found. March 3, 2019. How powerful is that!!!

  7. I don't understand why the docket number was read, instead of the charge. "Indictment for murder…. sixteen-dash-three-dash-zero-zero-one-zero…. zero-one-one-six, GUILTY". What does that mean?

  8. When a juror(s) hold out and don’t agree with the majority….it should be AGAINST THE LAW for those jurors to be bullied or heavily persuaded to go along with a verdict they don’t have peace about!! How is it fair for the defendant when jurors are leaning innocent or have reasonable doubt, but are looked at as the problem?? Some judges force jury’s to stay convened until they all agree. That’s just all wrong!
