  1. also, another fact to take in account is about what an potential dangerous individual can carry as protection.

because, no matter how someone is accurate with an 22LR, if the criminal has done some DIY protections, he can be invulnerable to 22LR )pretty easily (2mm of mild steel are enough to stop an 22LR, and for the face, one or two centimeters of plexiglas or polycarobnate can to the job if the material quality is good enough, so, anyone smart enough can easily do an integral armor that can totally protect him from 22LR)

  2. I knew this back in highschool. One of my coaches worked in the ER, saw A LOT of people survive headshots. Friend of mine who works the ER recently had a OIS where the badguy made it to surgery but later died. Our county SWAT Team had one of its members get pinned between his cruiser and a person using a vehicle as a weapon, Deputy put a 230gr HST into the guys head, guess where the guy ended up? In state court (a few days later) for ADW, and Attempted Murder of a LEO. Don't know the details of the incident but all the LEO's around here carry .45's and the HST (NOT the Hydrshok) is the preferred round it would seem. Probably easier for all the municipal agencies and the county to all use the same thing while our State Troopers use the wonky .45GAP in 200gr or 230gr, I don't know what they use but I thought I heard golden sabre's. No clue why I'd want 8-10rds of .45GAP when I can have 15rds of .45ACP!

  3. this dude is pretty cool. Like he grew up on playstation, MTV2, common sense from good family, beavis and butthead and annoying stoner friends.

  4. so instead of stopping people, you want to instantaniously kill them? its pretty safe to say you hit anyone in the head with anything larger than .22 and theyre not in the mood to go after you anymore.
