U.S. Soldiers, assigned to Task Force Cacti, 25th Infantry Division, operate their 105mm M119A3 Howitzers during a field artillery live-fire exercise at Pho Lym Yai, Thailand, March 20, 2020, as part of the Hanuman Guardian Exercise.

This type of training aims to strengthen the artillery unit’s readiness and tactical proficiency, and ensures the units remain versatile, responsive, and consistently available for current and future contingencies.

  1. I'm surprised we're still using the 105s. I was under the impression the US Army abandoned the 105s since they argued that the 155s could do the same roles the 105s can but better.

  25. Just some observations:
    Dig the f##king spade in.
    W/outbthe spade dug in, the next rd took forever.
    PKM team had plenty of time to acquire and engage before next rd down range (600 meters, cannon crew's toast).
    Soviet tank crew with auto load still would have beat that crew.
    Dig that spade in.
