USS Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) is the lead ship of its class of United States Navy aircraft carriers. The ship is named after the 38th President of the United States, Gerald Ford.

It is the world’s largest aircraft carrier, the most expensive aircraft carrier ever built and the largest ship ever constructed in terms of displacement.

  1. I wonder what it's like being inside while this is drifting. And is it just one guy steering it, or many people because that's fucking huge ship.

  2. Can't launch aircraft. Can't recover aircraft. Elevators don't work. Flight control system doesn't work. Electromag system a dismal failure. In the Pentagon's own words "The Gerald r ford may never be combat ready". And they are building 3 more at taxpayer expense. The billions wasted on this boondoggle make it the second most expensive YouTube video ever. The F35 is worse. Where are the Pentagon paid shills?

  3. awesome. People complain about tax dollars, but when I see stuff like this I don't mind one bit. Lets build some more, and bombers too, and bring back the raptor program. They'll waste the money anyway, might as well have some incredible military might to show for it. It's all that keeps those shits in line
