Estonian Army Training – HD POV OF MG3 Machine Gunner – Everything Law and Order Blog

Estonian soldier shoots the MG3 Machine Gun for training, improving readiness and qualification purposes. The combined arms exercise allowed riflemen and machine gunners to work together by closing with and destroying targets by fire.

The MG 3 is a German general-purpose machine gun chambered for the 7.62×51mm NATO cartridge. The MG 3 was standardized in the late 1950s and adopted into service with the newly formed Bundeswehr, where it continues to serve to this day as a squad support weapon and a vehicle-mounted machine gun. The weapon and its derivatives have also been acquired by the armed forces of over 30 countries.

  1. I feel for him Bounding with a L.M.G. in the snow. Not too much though.I had to assault up a hill in Wildfliken Germany in the snow and everything in Wildfliken is uphill including the Monastery that makes their own Beer.

  2. its very good impression how it is to be a machine gunner
most ppl only see the gun but all the work behind it and the exhaust of carrying such a heavy weapon (compared to a Assault rifle for example)

  3. While it isn’t the coolest looking gun, it’s the most functional and fun from the looks of it, one of my favorites minus the looks but it’s combat and no on cares about how cool it loks

  4. reminfs me at my time in Bundeswehr back in the 80´s. Nightshooting with tracers all around , and always a second ammo belt around the neck Nowadays with women in army they have plastic helmets and gay guns 🙂 !
