U.S. Army paratroopers assigned to 4th Battalion, 319 Airborne Field Artillery Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade prepare and fire the all-digital M119A3 105 mm lightweight howitzer during a live fire training exercise in close support of 2nd Battalion, 503rd Parachute Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade, in Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany on July 29, 2020.

The upgraded M119A3 is equipped with a digital fire control system that includes an inertial navigation unit, guided-precision system technology and other features that will give the ability to determine its precise geographical location on its own.

The 173rd Airborne Brigade routinely trains alongside NATO allies and partners to build partnerships and strengthen the alliance in Europe.
