Idk how it works in that neck of the woods but the ceremony is just a formality …your degree is mailed to you anyway we got a fake nice letter rolled up with a beautiful 2p ribbon that was poorly cut . I would have been pissed paying for a cap and gown and we weren't even allowed to throw our caps for "health and safety reasons " despite the fact there are so many hazards out here in the real world . They may as well ban going out in a storm just in case you get struck by lightning

These 'young adults' not kids were wrong. They gave the university a bad name. They are going out in the workforce and must learn to conduct themselves in a professional way at events and ceremonies, plus show respect. There is a time and place to protest and this was neither. She came to honor their achievement, and this how they responded.

I would normally say that a speaker has a right to be heard but the administration crashes the students graduation party with this looser they should expect disrespect. Being an crazy old man after the threats were made to the graduates I would have stood up and shouted out that my name is James Mauch and that I expect my diploma be sent out promptly.

You do yourself and your fellow students great harm by accepting and encouraging foreign, unAmerican ideologies and expecting to be subsidized by those who disagree for moral, ethical reasons. The Chancellor of the school did the right thing. Encouraging youth to have mass public temper tantrums is so degrading and debauched, unbecoming of young students. It is despicable and certainly not something that ought to be encouraged!
