1. Charlamagne, I love you, but you missed the mark here by about billion miles. Some people actually like being single. You're literally making single shaming worse with this poorly thought out take.

2. Single shaming happens cause people in relationships are insecure and are actually very unhappy in those relationships. I believe that my married friends are actually jealous of my freedom. I can go anywhere, do anything, and say anything that I want at any time. PLUS, I have wayyy more friends than they do and ultimately a richer and larger caring community.

17. Yesterday I talked to a 72 year old woman who was dating men and her standards were higher than mine. She was confident and happy and didn't stress over whether one relationship would work out. She still had agency on whether she wanted to move on with a guy or if he was "too lame to take to a party" (she really said that). I think Charlamagne tried to uplift here but just ended up judging women who are happy with themselves and only want someone that adds to their life. You shouldn't be asking women why they are single…You should be asking men why women are single.
