1. ==June 7th Update==
   I'll leave our original post down below, but want to let everyone know the events which took place after we left the area on July 2nd.

   On 07/02/21 the body of 38-year-old Kevin Carlile has been recovered at Fern Ridge Reservoir. Family members assisting in the search located his body in the water at approximately 12:52pm quite a distance south of where he had last been seen. Sheriff’s Search and Rescue personnel responded and assisted with the recovery.

   Sheriff’s marine patrol and search and rescue resources were required at an unrelated in-progress water rescue incident on a separate body of water that morning.

   At approximately 12:59pm family members to the victim contacted Sheriff’s Office personnel and advised that they had located the victim on the surface of the water in a different part of the reservoir. This was determined to be closer to Perkin’s Penninsula or Signal Island. Sheriff’s Office personnel responded to the family’s location and assisted in the recovery.

   In regards to our interaction with the Deputy on July 2nd, we are satisfied that a Supervisor with the Sheriff's Office reached out to our organization and apologized for the way we were treated.

   At the end of the day, I personally am chalking it up to "we all have bad days" and hold nothing against the Deputy or the Lane County Sheriff's Office.

   I ask that anybody reading this feel the same and please do not reach out to their office any further via email, phone, or other social media.

   "I DON'T LIKE YOU" are the words uttered by the Sherriff's Deputy after returning to the boat ramp this evening after the cameras were off.

   It started out with the Deputy walking up the ramp towards our RV and me meeting him halfway, hand outreached to shake his hand.

   "I'm not shaking your hand"…

   Taken back I ask is there a reason and what I may have done to upset this man I've never met before.

   With no real cause stated as to why he'd have such a negative attitude and conversation with me, I'm saddened to say we will not be returning to Fern Ridge Lake in the morning to continue our search.

   Can I say the target we saw on sonar is or is not Kevin? I don't know for I did not dive, putting my own eyes and hands on the target

   Am I confident that if we had another, 3, 6, or maybe even 12 more hours to continue running out our sonar searches, diving on our own targets to verify, that we'd find Kevin… 100% You Bet!

   At the end of the day, we are here to serve and not showboat or be cowboys. With 3 law enforcement agencies coming back in tomorrow, we can only hope for a quick recovery so the family can move forward from this unfortunate time in their lives.

   We'll be moving a few hours north in the morning in hopes of helping another family during their own difficult time.

4. The only thing that is aggravating me is that Jared needs to keep his eyes on the sonar instead of looking away to talk to people.

I wear life jacket anytime I am on the water including flat water fishing..was out at Hagg lake in calm morning water and a fisherman flipped out of his boat into 40 degree water at opener of season.He had a buddy who got him out quick and thankfully had a change of clothes..thats how quick it happens to the strongest!

23. It seems like people are so Butthurt these days.. The local cops didn't have to be so fxking rude.. When they wasnt even out there looking knowing this man was missing in that water. AWP is there to help with the upmost respect. It really upsets me how they act towards people who reqlly care about others. Great Job Guys thank y'all for everything y'all do.❤💙

36. Let me start by saying I have all the respect in the world for what you all do. God bless you all❣I live within spitting distance of Sparta, Tennessee since Aug 2019 where Jeremy Sides found the missing teens after 21 years. This is where I first learned about this "movement". But I didn't really check it out at that time. I watched a few of Jeremy's videos but it wasn't until Kiely went missing (I was a 65 year native of Calif until I moved and have been to Truckee millions of times). Anyway, while following the beginning of the event someone mentioned Adventures with Purpose should be called in. I did the research and have been binge watching for 3 weeks or so. I have subscribed to your channel and will most likely be joining the team. I'm still trying to catch up and I just spent 3+ hours watching the search for Kevin Carlisle only to discover there is no follow up video by AWP. It just ended. I knew you just couldn't leave me stranded with no answers 😉. I found where Kevin's body was recovered but nothing about your team. I spent another hour searching and found your update here. I have enjoyed watching all the team member develop and find there niche in the world of YouTube. I only have one suggestion after this experience. I watch YouTube on Roku TV so I don't see the chat strings. I know I'm not the only one. Would it be possible to somehow add updates to videos. Typically I have seen actual follow videos from you. Is there a reason you didn't do that with this one? I love all involved. Thank you so much for what you do.❤
