I worked HARD all my life to be able to have renters. Now renters don't feel they should have to pay me the little guy who WORKED hard all my life. These people are missing the big picture. The American goverment has allowed corporate people that make 200 million a year to take jobs out of America, screwing everybody in America. THIS is a fault of the American goverment. They have FAILED the American people by removing all good jobs from America. SAD SAD SAD —–FIRE your politicians NOW.

Why not suggest people live within their means and build budgets and save to buy homes not to destroy seniors retirements because you obviously think you are owed something. Man what a way to destroy progressive values like Community Land Trust Housing. Affordable education maybe guarantee education up until the second year of college, Why not build towards Medicare for all starting with the ACA and make changes in increments so it actually comes to fruition,. No you want to not pay rent, live in someones home for free, who cares if that rent pays for food in some older couples mouth. Shakes Head! Really don’t think this approach was thought thru enough…Landlords provides SERVICE…Each landlord has a certain amount of real-estate…They pay taxes,insurance,utilities and maintenance of building…Doesn’t make SENCE to punish landlords during this crisis either…It would be more practical to petition the state & federal governments to steer EMERGENCY funds for the purpose of providing rents and operating cost…The federal reserve is bailing out corporate by the TRILLIONS and so should landlords,renters & homeowners…This creates a win-win for everyone…Example 3 months NO PAYMENT from ANYBODY and the check issued to the landlords at end of each month…
So landlords shouldn't pay for repairs? Should they turn off the utilities they pay out of the rent? No more garbage collection or cleaning the building. What about the mortgage owed on the property?
Instead of hurting your landlord maybe they should help pay for those in need? Landlords aren't the enemy.
