To all patriotic Americans this is a message from a Vietnam vet. When you receive the census form in the mail write in big letters across the Forum in a marker stating that you are a US citizen and that you do not recognize this form. State that I will not sign a paper that is not for citizens of the United States. I would ask that every patriotic American that has voted for President Trump to do this on their census form and then send it back to them. An executive order that changes the Constitution? I don't think so Willis! the president cannot add or take away amendments as he feels. as next move will be making himself president until the day he dies and do away with the 4-year term scenario. He will declare himself emperor.
The one and the only way you could get people to really welcome immigrants would be to make it financially worthwhile for people to start sharing the jobs and so be able to enjoy working LESS without any loss of money THANKS to all the immigrants. There is no other way people are going to see that there is any benefit to allowing immigrants into their countries.

It may be that this added question may only be used for "statistical purposes" and not used for law enforcement or any other (whimsical) purpose, but from DJT's given public track record, the given conduct of Debbie Wasserman-Schultz, and Brenda Snipes, the given conduct of the SCOTUS re everything from Justice Thomas to Citizens United and beyond, we may not know for sure, but we have a pretty good idea about how things will go if it is allowed to go through. We have been raising our voices against such travesties, but our voices aren't loud enough yet to have achieved any substantive results; we are just nibbling around the edges and haven't bothered to get to the heart of thing so far. I'm afraid, like Pearl Harbor, or 9/11, it is going to have to take some precipitating event to get the full attention of the people and shape them into a force for good to be reckoned with.

The US Census is an evil instrument through & thru. It’s used to harm, discriminate and harm people broadly. Any substitutes or complements to the census are even more evil.
I'm in favor of adding this question. We need hard numbers on illegal immigration if we want to have a serious discussion about it. Republicans can use the information to gerrymander, but so can Democrats, so that seems like a separate issue to me. Just because Trump wants to do it doesn't mean we automatically have to oppose it.

Why are you questioning the legality to have a census and to ask who is a citizen and who isnt? People having censuses since biblical times. There is nothing wrong wanting to know who came from where and who came legally or illegally into the country. Please don't gaslight the public. Every person should be responsible for their own actions. If I go into your apartment and you ask me who am I should I be telling you that you have no right asking me anything and why don't you leave me alone and you should be even happy for me because I washed your dishes and I don't cause any trouble anyway to anybody. This is not a racism issue. I don't want European emigrants to be here illegally either.
Become a legal US citizen, or expect to be deported.
