Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individuals seen in the following video clip and still photos.
On April 4, 2023, at approximately 11:00pm, the victim, a 38-year-old male, was in a ride share car which was stopped at a traffic light at 2nd and Chestnut Street when a group of juveniles surrounded the car and two of them reached into the car and tried to take the victim’s phone. The suspects then hit the victim in the face as the ride share driver pulled away. The suspects were seen on surveillance video after the incident on a Septa subway platform.
