The Philadelphia Police Department and the Shooting Investigation Group is asking for the public’s assistance for information in reference to this shooting that occurred at 1800 E. Lippincott St.
On June 9, 2022, at 8:07 am, a marked patrol unit heard several gunshots while in the area of Jasper St and Lippincott St. Officers located the victim, a 30-year-old black male, lying in the intersection suffering from a gunshot wound and apparent broken leg. The shooter then fled on foot and was last seen turning onto Kensington Ave from Lippincott St. The victim was transported to Temple Hospital by police and listed in stable condition.
