Suspect for Hit and Run Auto-Pedestrian in the 12th District – Blotter

On Thursday, April 13, 2013, at 10:46 A.M. a hit and run auto-pedestrian incident occurred at 70th and Cobbs Creek Parkway.

A Ford Mustang was traveling westbound on Cobbs Creek Parkway. The 58-year-old white female was facing westbound in the middle lane of Cobbs Creek Parkway. The Ford Mustang made contact with the pedestrian and fled the scene westbound on Cobbs Creek Parkway. PFD-Medic Unit transported the victim to Lankenau Medical Center, where she was placed in critical condition. The scene was held. No arrest at this time. The investigation is active and ongoing with Crash Investigation Division.

Vehicle Description: Ford Mustang, white in color, partial PA Tag # JFE, with a gray or black convertible top.

Anyone with information on this vehicle is asked to please contact the Crash Investigation Division at 215-685-3180, call 911, or 215-686-TIPS (8477). There is a $5,000 reward offered by Managing Director’s Office for information that leads to an arrest or conviction.
