The PPD Northwest Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual responsible for this commercial burglary.
On November 21, 2022, the complainant, ENON Tabernacle Church located at 2800 Cheltenham Ave, reported to police an unknown black male burglarized the church on November 12, 2022. Video surveillance from the church shows a male wearing a black coat, pants, sneakers and mask walking through the parking lot coming from Cheltenham Ave. The male then breaks through a glass door to enter the church. The male heads directly to the main office which contains a safe. The offender breaks into the safe and takes $20,000 to 25,000 in cash and checks. The offender leaves the building and walks back towards the 2800 block of Cheltenham Ave.
- Suspect Description: Heavy set black male wearing a black coat with hood, pants, sneakers and mask. Also wearing yellow and black work gloves and has a black backpack with “BRAND†written on the back of the bag.
