We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. It is our stand that we as Americans have been either uninformed or misinformed regarding our laws and rights for far too long. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. All donations will be used exclusively to further this cause.   6. Remember… Montana only requires a tag on the back license plate of a motor vehicle. Another fun fact: Billings made it against the law to flip off officers within the city of Billings. They give you a fine for it🤷🏻‍♂️

  13. If they had more important cases, and there never was any, why were they wasting their time? calling cops out on their own turf – is rattling enough, teaching them the law that should be ingrained in them…ruffles their Ego..LOL

  17. These officers demonstrated tremendous patience and restraint in their interactions with you. What you guys were expecting them to do, from their perspective, was to possibly violate someone else's rights. They need a credible report in order to detain someone for an allegation of a crime. You were demanding they detain someone first, and then you'd provide you name and video evidence afterwords. I give them a A+ on this interaction. They were polite. They were respectful. They didn't violate your rights. They did not detain you. They did not demand your identification. They did not order you to leave. They didn't violate anyone else's rights. What they didn't do, is fulfill your unreasonable demands or jump through your hoops. Recommendations: Keep your interactions polite, stop being assholes, don't try to escalate the situation, and do try to see things from their perspective.

  22. I got pulled over for a traffic stop once and the officer ran back, handed my info back, said "it's your lucky day bro, I gotta get." and was off to what I learned later by happenstance drive-by was a domestic dispute.

    These guys are full of Grade A bullshit.
