A US Army officer is suing two Virginia police officers after they pointed guns at him, pepper sprayed him and pushed him to the ground during a traffic stop last December for what the officers believed was a missing license plate on his new SUV.
The lawsuit by 2nd Lt. Caron Nazario, who is Black and Latino, is seeking $1 million in compensatory damages, claiming two Windsor, Virginia, police officers violated his rights guaranteed under the First and Fourth Amendments.
The suit, filed in US District Court and first reported by the Virginian-Pilot, claims unlawful seizure, excessive force, illegal search, violating his First Amendment right to free speech, and common law assault, battery and false imprisonment.

You exposed the bad people and people don't understand what that means but I think they starting to get it. I am a Oath keeper of three different variants: law enforcement, military, and other… Thank you for this video. I was most interested and yes, I am a little older than you and I do recall the days when a traffic stop would be a productive process for societal safety. I've been following civil rights, American liberties, Constitution quite a while in my years of youth also.We are Americans or at least I thought. I often bring up the book by Ed cray. "The Enemy in the Streets". This was my first book when I was 15 years old, a most excellent read even to this day as the climate of our environment of politics that were facing. As a kid I grew up in Huntington Park Los Angeles in a rough and tumble cultural environment. I now believe nothing has changed in that particular state with ira Reiner…. Tom Bradley and second time Governor Brown..etc.. wow! I like the fact of your position you take. I realize that they just like to classify and label people in categories for which you fall into neither as well as I don't. I'm not sure what's to become of that state of California? I've since moved, but I certainly hope something better becomes of that state. The state with the bear on it the flag and I grew up under. God bless this country..

OK, easily solved:
1. Crocker presumed no plate. Mistake #1.
2. Crocker adjudged "eluding." Mistake #2.
3. Report states "failure to comply" repeatedly. Falsehood. Mistake #3.
Cops made several factual errors & failed to behave reasonably, causing injury & harm.
In short, cops need retraining in communication & what REASONABLE behavior is, nationwide.
I blame the Patriot Act.
Police report, etc. Of Town of Windsor's website. Police report is flled with presumption, hyperbole, & falsehood.
Left messages with Virginia Secretary of State (804) 786-2241 & Governor's office (804) 786-2211 regarding Windsor PD not answering their phone or emptying their mailbox & obtaining a copy (electronic) of the original police report.
This is law enforcement at its best.blue line gang. Thugs.
Still no answer at the police department 5 days later.
