Catching up with Harbor Division
This officer has always been chill with me, waves….gives me a ‘thumbs up’, smiles….then talks to me after all is said and done.
I find it most amusing, since he is always the ONLY 1 cop in a group of cops who seems ‘happy’ to see me, while all the others scramble to get away, or hide or whatever…..
THE VERY FEW OFFICERS at Harbor Div that are chill with me, are hard to find these days….it’s time for me to get back to recording them nightly – ITS TIME FOR ME TO TRAIN THE NEW BATCH!

  18. They're not taking their radio chatter "off the scanner", they're just scrambling / encrypting it. That's nothing new. Where I lived in the 1970's and 80's they scrambled drug sting operations. I had a descrambler for my scanner and listened anyway. Unless they have a huge budget for all new state of the art radios they will probably be using the "trunked APCO-25 system". It's not impossible to listen to, but it is illegal to listen (that never stopped us before.) A good trunking APCO-25 / P25 enabled digital scanner will set you back at least $400 – $500. You wouldn't want to carry that scanner with you in the field, but it wouldn't be a big deal to set it up at home and broadcast it to your cell phone through something like a teamspeak server. A leased teamspeak server cost me about $25 a year, and even it encrypts all voice and text communications going through it. I'm really surprised auditors and cop watchers haven't figured out that they can use things like teamspeak to communicate with and coordinate groups of activists. The "community" just needs a few good radio and computer nerds to set this stuff up.

    And you know they do deserve it.., even the ones who like to play nice, at times.

  27. Speak in a firm but neutral tone and remember that repetition is key. Also, don’t hesitate to use a time out when needed. If multiple time outs are triggered, I would call in the parents for a conference….

  33. This vid should b shown to all cops. If they act like the last 2 officers, auditors would have no good vids to show citizens.
