1. This happened to me the other night. They had 2 cop cars and one guy with a laser.

   No need to stop you.
   Then you get a fine notice in the mail.

9. Radar detector or police scanner are both illegal in NY. If trying to make good time a CB will tell you where every active officer is on the highway.

16. In Phx cops get their cars and trucks paid for to pull over speeders.They all have 100k trucks and Hellcats as personal vehicles.

17. in my town the cops used to park a decoy car in plain view to get people to slow down, they moved the car on a daily basis and it worked for a while, people would see the car and slow down.

18. Laser radar detectors only tell you that you're busted.
    Back in the day before laser radar , a radar detector can warn you that there's a cop using radar ahead before the cop's radar gun sees you. With the newer laser radar guns that the cops have your detector will go off when the cop hits you with the laser. . .hence the detector will just tell you that you're busted , no warning ahead just busted.

I got pulled over for speeding and went to court, while I was waiting I was talking with some of the cops in there and they asked who the pulling over officer was and when I told them the one cop laughed and said "yeah hes pulled over like 100 people this week. I dont even go over 65 or he will pull over me" some of those cops are trying so hard to get a promotion. Either that or he had a hard on for pissing people off.

30. I'm a home nurse.
    I had a patient years ago who had retired from Law Enforcement. He was fighting testicular cancer…he blamed it on the early radar guns because he rested his on his lap.
    The irony of karma is no joke.

31. In Florida, they must first make a visual estimate of speed before using a measuring device. This scenario violates the Florida Administrative Code, so maybe Ohio has similar requirements?
