17. It is possible the information the officer has includes a name. Asking for ID would be a valid action, but if ID is refused….he should move on

18. The reason they ask for ID’s is to confirm the address of their next victim. Think about it…they always ask if your address is current. Why would that ever matter if it were a moving violation? Your citation is printed and handed to you for signature to which you receive a copy.
