1. okay, as a truck driver, I'm held to a higher standard over non commercial drivers. if I get a dui/dwi, I dont just lose my license, I lose my career. I will never ever be able to work for a reputable company again. why shouldn't cops be held at least to that standard? demotion should be the first punishment they get, followed by termination. if they're involved in an unjustified shooting, loss of firearms for life. as you say laura shark, there's no accountability for these people.

7. One of my good friends was shot and killed by a police 3 days before Christmas in 2002 in Jacksonville, FL. I myself have been harassed by police so much in the past that it is not even funny and I was not doing nothing wrong most of those times. I have did committed 3 traffic offenses in my life. They pulled me over 111 times in one year.

19. Since the police don't hold other police officers accountable for anything, they are all complicit in covering up crimes committed by police, so they paint themselves with the same brush. There is no shortage of bad pigs, and absolutely no pigs that will do anything about a bad pig, so yes, you are all painted with the same brush. Yes, there's plenty of compassion for other pigs, none for citizens.

26. Being as this was in California, it had to be a manual transmission car, since California is/has been attempting to outlaw semi-automatic firearms.

    Firearms are covered by the 2nd amendment of the US Constitution, while the right to drive an automobile don't exist, only the privilege which can be restricted. Wait a minute, isn't that what California is doing with firearms ownership? Where's the memo that the 2nd amendment is now a privilege in California?

31. "the spirit of the law" is upto an individuals interpretation that is why you should not go by that because is a relative term like justice or suspicion what is suspicious or just or "law" can be different to someone else but the letter of the law is the same for everyone
