I was confronted and verbally threatened by an LAPD sergeant with Mission division. I have made repeated efforts to positively ID him based on information from other cops at the scene and the number of the police car he was driving. Mission division has refused to help me, or actively denying me access to his name, and claiming that they will do an investigation. Even though my request was simply for a positive identification so that I can move forward with an internal affairs complaint. They do not want this to happen and will do anything to cover for their own and stop this from occurring.
