We believe that many of our rights and civil liberties as American citizens on American soil are at great risk and that a simple act of civil disobedience has the power to effect great change. While we have no interest or intention in breaking any law, we are willing to stand up for freedom and the constitution at any time and at any place and do so in a responsible and productive manner. It is our goal to create free and open discussion whenever possible in an effort to educate both ourselves and anyone with a desire to learn. A well known rule of government is that ignorance is no excuse for the law. It is our stand that we as Americans have been either uninformed or misinformed regarding our laws and rights for far too long. We are not attorneys or scholars, however we have been involved in professional photography for over 30 years and have had our rights and freedoms challenged more times than we can remember. No one group or person has the ability to effect change across the board, however we are committed to doing our part by continuing to stand up for our constitutional right to free press and the right to take photographs and video in public. All donations will be used exclusively to further this cause. We want to thank you in advance for your support of what we do and want you to know that we are committed to working harder than ever to defend our rights, your rights and the Freedom to Film in Public!!

  3. FULL DRUG DECRIMINALIZATION is definitely the way to go!!!! This interaction was infinitely much more pleasant and humane than in jurisdictions where prohibition continues to exist. Decriminalization is a much needed FIRST step. Yet, we can do better. Hopefully, we will soon achieve FULL DRUG (and all other personal freedom) LEGALIZATION!!!! Awesome encounter, AP!!!!

  11. It's a reduced criminal offense . It's not decriminalized , a misdemeanor is a crime too . If it was decriminalized it would be legal.

  14. I'm guessing they decriminalized small amounts of drugs only because everyone it seems has it and the courts are way too full.

  15. AP is not only a very high class auditor, he is so well traveled that it's only a cop who bothers to do some off hour learning who knows who he is.
    Have to give this cop a lot of props. There is at least one law/right he actually knows. More than most.

  18. This was awesome. Regarding the people that think the Sargent was being sheepish, keep in mind that he is a and probably has been for decades a member of one of the largest and most powerful UNIONs or gangs (tomato/tomato) in the nation. He was just being smart and situationally aware…. if I was in a union as large, as well armed, and corrupt as the FOP, I would keep my mouth shut too.

  28. You do not support defunding the police. But do you support spending some tax dollars on social services and offloading non law enforcement responsibilities onto other professional services better suited to meet the public need? Like maybe support for homeless vets with PTSD (possibly aggressive with mental issues) who might otherwise be interfacing needlessly with police?

  30. Wow…. Those cops were nice to the dude. Where I'm at in VA and where I grew up they would of been thrown to the ground and locked up. Cops here have something up their butts, not joking either.

  31. Jason Gutterman is a so-called “First Amendment Auditor” who lives in Parker, Colorado and is white nationalist. It is alleged that he works for Lauren Boebert For Congress’s Campaign. He works alongside his son Benjamin Gutterman and his wife Dulce Marie Gutterman. All three are tied to the white nationalist organization Proud Boys.

  34. They need to address the driving vs traveling issue. You legally don't need a license to operate an automobile if you are not making money while operating it. I am very knowledgeable in this area so don't say i don't know what I'm talking about. This is police verified information.

  44. Completely unnecessary harassment of these people ! Nothing dramatic here , but damn … leave the average joe alone … c-mom !!!
