While CPU Copwatch Patrol unit was monitoring the area, we observed anti-crime unit officers following 3 kids on their bikes just riding down Avenue D minding their business violating no laws… when the kids stopped, they also stopped, and then CPU came to the scene and prevented these officers from jumping out and harassing and searching them…. CPU will remain in the area until the people in the Lower East Side have peace from being unlawfully harassed and searched and abused… as CPU is currently in the process of investigating 2 police brutality complaints against these same offices….#NYPD #copwatch #copwatchpatrolunit
