They tried telling you find Subs checkpoints but you said you didn't want to hear that. You said don't say the city don't say the county and don't say the state and don't say the federal government don't say the world government don't say that space aliens coming down from out of the sky. The deal is is every one of those could be paying for that checkpoint but you're not paying a penny.
Business owners and Property Owners that's who funds them. People walk around with cell phones do not find them.
California DUI checkpoints are just another "business". In 2009 they generated over $40 million dollars in towing fees and police fines. The California Office of Traffic Safety (tax payer money) pays the $30 million in police overtime pay.
