Night time bicyclists are dangerous to walkers. The bikers think walkers can hear them, but they don't know they're completely silent. So bikers often ride within inches of a walker, passing from behind. I have almost gotten clocked many times. The worst night bikers are on the bike path with no light whatsoever, and they're riding very fast.
I thought about asking the police to set up something to stop those guys. My friend got clocked and ended up with a black eye. The biker rode off.

Pedestrians on bicycles aren't pedestrians… They're cyclists… On the flip side, no one really should be cycling at/after dark without lights and reflectors. Maybe not this night, but the cyclists have to be right every time they do it, and the cop only has to be right once. Now, was it worth blowing a light, illegally u-turning in an intersection where he had a red light, and then pulling them over? Probably not.
