As per the new MTA rules on the subway, everyone is mandated, including NYPD Officers to wear their mask while on the subway system….A passenger asks the officer to wear a mask, but in return the officer becomes biligerent, and begins to intimidate the passenger for requesting his name & badge number, which is an NYPD Patrol Guide Violation on his part.
Why would the officer get upset about being told to wear a mask?, when officers are now writing $50 summons to passengers who do not wear a mask on the subway.
The NYPD are so interested in mending relations with the community, however, officers like this is what gives a bad name to all, and as long as we have officers like this, the relationship between the NYPD and the community will never exist, and the people will continue to have hate for the NYPD until all these bad apples fall far from the tree. #nypd #facemask
