WHO SAID THAT THEY HAVE DECRIMINALIZED LOCKING PEOPLE UP FOR FAREBEATING??….Here we go again with the Selective Bus Service (SBS)….This time #NYPD “Strategic Response Group” (SRG2) were at 149 Street, 3rd Avenue targeting people coming out the Bus by checking people’s tickets at the last stop of the BX-41….First of all, the NYPD Opt out of checking tickets for the #MTA because they have their own security that does this on a regular basis in New York, and according to a statement that Police Commissioner Bill Bratton stated that SRG are a specialized Unit that was specifically meant to Target Protesters & Anti-terrorism, however you see them here targeting people for $2.75…You can also see that they were giving summonses to people, but arrested someone who stated to police that he lives in a shelter and didn’t have money to board the Bus..They arrested him without him having a Warrant…I THOUGHT THAT THEY DECRIMINALIZED FARE BEATING IN NEW YORK??
