Per the #NYPD Patrol Guide, officers are to conduct personal matters on their assigned lunch break…. Banking is one of those personal matters which officers are seen doing all the time…The Department has over 35,000 cops and if we allow officers to conduct personal matters on Active Duty, then these officers are robbing the City of New York (Taxpayers) for millions of dollars a year combined and that is unacceptable….ALL PERSONAL MATTERS SHOULD BE CONDUCTED ON THE OFFICERS MEAL BREAK.
