DATE & LOCATION: 01-10-24, 4:35pm at 95th Street & 3rd Avenue (East Harlem)
The NYPD’s Public Safety Officers, a Unit formerly known as Anti-Crime, continue to unlawfully stop vehicles with occupants of Color in Harlem, searching both the car and everyone in it without Propable Cause and permission.
These officers spent a full hour searching the occupants and every part of the vehicle, including the inside of the engine, looking for a reason to arrest these guys because I was there recording, however, after a long hour, these officers had no choice but to release them…..
NO SUMMONS WRITTEN, NO ARRESTS MADE = NO PROPABLE CAUSE TO STOP & SEARCH VEHICLE….Pure 4th Amendment Rights Violation.
Stop & Frisk continues to be practiced by the NYPD, in fact, they continue to jump on on unsuspecting People Of Color in poor nieborhoods.
