The Mayor of New York City has mandated and directed all NYPD Officers to wear their mask while entering all business establishments, and when they respond to 911 calls and other normal civilian contact.
It has already been reported that over 6000 NYPD Officers have already been infected with Covid-19….NYPD Officers are the 1st responders in this City, and for these officers to violate that mandate puts civilians in danger of being exposed to this virus.
Everyday, NYPD Officers respond to calls from business owners regarding mask mandate violations, in which the NYPD are forced to enforce…..then why should the NYPD be allowed to violate this mandate? Why should business owners call the police on customers who don’t wear a mask, but allow NYPD Officers to violate this mandate at Will?
