The NYPD have been violating the Rights of Citizens who are protesting peacefully, and have the Right to protest Orderly in NYC…..
The NYPD are trying to extinguish that Right by arresting activists who are crossing the crosswalk legally. while being forced to march on the sidewalk instead of the street, in which EVERYONE has the Right to Protest…..The NYPD are targeting anyone who they feel that has any influence in the march, trying to dismantle a peaceful protest by arresting activists unlawfully, and creating disturbances so that they can effect many arrests to dismantle the protest.
EVERYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO PROTEST ORDERLY IN THE STREET…..NO PERMIT IS REQUIRED TO EXERCISE FREE SPEECH / THE 1ST AMENDMENT IN THE UNITED STATES, AS LONG AS THAT PROTEST IS MARCHING ORDERLY, HOWEVER, the NYPD is violating that Right by grabbing peaceful activists and causing disruption while protesters are exercising FREE SPEECH.
