Sad bc this severely jeopardizes people’s right to peaceful protest. I said this would start happening all across the country soon bc people have had enough, but doing it like this is not a good idea and they’re destroying local businesses that are already drowning bc they’ve been closed for almost 3 months. Not cool. Makes no sense to do that.. unnecessary and cruel.
I don't understand why these protesters never ever punish the cops instead they steal from local businesses n punishing the innocent ppl. Hey BLM, if you want to make a point to the cops go protest the cops in front of their stations. Don't burn down business.

It’s early for me catching up. Last night I saw aerial footage of citizens protesting around where Floyd was murdered.
I'm sad to say that Minneapolis is my home….

These are knees of someone who spent five hours kneeling over neighbors, mothers, fathers, friends, brothers and sisters. Doing my best to try and stop the bleeding from almost 30 wounds that all looked the same. The cops weren’t shooting the tear gas into the street, they were deliberately aiming at people of color and nailing them with the canisters. I saw so many people come in with DARK purple, bleeding perfect circles from the cans piercing their skin. I saw people with cracked ribs, sending people to the hospital from concussions and deep wounds. I had to dump milk on people’s faces from being maced point blank and suffocating on tear gas. Bandage people from the puncture wounds that the rubber bullets cause. This is not a fucking joke. Over 100+ people came into the triage zone we set up, bleeding and injured BY THE COPS. A lot of allies, but mostly people of color. MPD kill people of color in cold blood, and they are continuing to do so. This is full on war. My lungs are still full of tear gas, but the fight isn’t over. Not until they stop doing shit like this. Perpetuating the exact reason we are there in the first place, targeting, harming and killing people of color. I want to thank RN Micheal aka Irish, for taking his night off to assist us in the medical tent. He saved a lot of lives tonight and was on the front lines during a pandemic even though he’s 65 to help the people who were being targeted. ACAB and stay strong

They used cell phone blockers to stop live feeds. They also hit people intentionally with tear gas – hundreds of circular bruises with lacerations from tear gas cans — and rubber bullets – unlike all you white men who can walk around with automatic weapons and story Government buildings.
It’s going to continue until the cop that murdered a man ON CAMERA is arrested and charged with murder. This murder case should be an automatic guilty verdict with no due process since it was recorded on video. The cop should be publicly executed and if he is I guarantee you the rioting and looting will stop. The cop and the ones that stood around and did nothing to stop another cop from murdering a man has to be held accountable. Wtf kind of world are we living in where a murder was caught on video and the murderer isn’t in jail.
